1) Problem after user-registration and user is logged-in: https://prnt.sc/11du7ek
I have created a test user. Everything works fine. BUT after the login i can hover the username and then i see this link:
politik-kanal.at/author/username
So this is totally wrong, correct? Because normally all users who register should become standard-user-role which is SUBSCRIBER and not AUTHOR, correct?
Right now if i click on the username then a new window opens like this: https://prnt.sc/11dud0s
Should there be a redirection to the users profile-page and not to an author page??? If i have 1000 subscribers then i will have 1000 different author-pages???
Any help appreciated!!
2) Problem after clicking on Facebook LIKE-BUTTON: https://prnt.sc/11du3jo
Question: How can i fix this? Normally there should be the blue button and change the likes to +1
Hello!
1. Unfortunately, in our theme there is no setting for multi-user.
2. In our theme, we have something like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/jQ2sWD15 and it should work well.
Thank you!
Thanks for your reply. I am trying to ask different:
1. When a user is registering via newspaper theme login/logout system via the default-template, then he becomes a “SUBSCRIBER” user-role from WordPress.
2. When this user is clicking on his username in the top-bar of the default template, then he is forwarded to this: politik-kanal.at/author/username !!
3. So this means the new user becomes an “author” from NewspaperX and he also becomes a new author-page: https://prnt.sc/11dud0s
> I DO NOT WANT the new users become “AUTHORS” by Newspaper theme!
> I DO NOT WANT the new users automatically get new author-page!
> I WANT NEW USERS NOT BEING LINKED TO THIS page: politik-kanal.at/author/username !!
How can i prevent users from having their own author-pages?? I want users only have their profile-page but no author-page.
Hope you understand.
Thanks
