Be sure to deactivate child theme when upgrading and select main theme as working; then upgrade files; then go back and activate child theme. At least that seems to be the way to do that. And of course clear cache on server/CDN, and your web browser – often what happens is that something is loading the old styles, and so browser ends up loading mix of old and new. Might not be your issue, but worth a try. 4.2 does work, but I haven’t used it with child theme myself as I prefer to change core files and use custom CSS to avoid such weirdo issues with child themes, and I’m a believer in NOT using the CSS redirect from child to parent.
Hi,
Thanks @Christopher!
@saltzfrau
Glad you managed to get it working, let us know if you have any other theme related issues.
Thanks for the message!
