All of a sudden, I’m getting a 404 error message on the top of my home page where the photo slider is. What’s ohh, is when I visit the site from my wordpress dashboard, everything is fine. When I access the page via safari and chrome the 404 error page is there. What’s the deal?
If you’re loading the slider with content from another site, it might be timing out.
Check your home page in Chrome developer tools (F12), or Firebug in Firefox (etc.) to see what errors are being generated.
Check the page source of your home page to look at the code for the slider “on the page.”
If this happened “suddenly” – check for any plugins you’ve updated.

Please provide your site’s URL so we can check this and also check for this by disabling all plugins and emptying your cache.
