Hope you can help me out. We’re rebuilding our website: mijnhardloopschoen.nl literally from scratch. So far (step by step) it’s getting shape. Nevertheless there still is this 404 error on my homepage, which I just can’t get rid of. I noticed it automatically goes to: /site when entering. I assume that’s were the problem is. Cause redirects obviously get met back to the same page. Is there anyone that can help me out?

We always try to help. One important thing to try and avoid in a topic, is to reply two or more times, before we get a change to do so, that will only delay our response. We reply from the oldest to the newest topic, and multiple replies will refresh the topic date. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I see you are using the default WordPress blog homepage at this time, and not a static page like this https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
This link would work if you created a page called “site” https://www.mijnhardloopschoen.nl/site/ Normally that is how a link to a page from the website has the URL. Does such a page exist on the website?

–> That’s because this one keeps popping up. And we do not have a page called ‘site’. So I don’t know what it is. Do you have any idea?
Or should I place a redirect? Maybe not the prettiest option, but it could def work.

Hi,
Using our theme, there is no pre-set permalink as site, maybe you use some extra plugins, or you set a permalink for homepage. Normally, using our them the steps from this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/ are abought to set a page as homepage.
Pleas make a test using only theme plugins enable, and if the problem persists, we can take a look, for this we’ll like to contact us at contact@tagdiv.com, make a full backup and provide in email wp-admin access and include the link of this topic to identify the problem.
