I’m getting 404 errors like this in my logs. I notice many times the URL ends with “?14”. What exactly does the “?14” do?

Hi,
This is the normal way for displaying the icons on website, please check if you still have those files in wp-content\themes\Newspaper\images\icons https://www.screencast.com/t/emjOfS2MqZ

Hi,
The HTTP 404, 404 Not Found, and 404 error message is a Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) standard response code, in computer network communications, to indicate that the client was able to communicate with a given server, but the server could not find what was requested.
Go to Settings » Permalinks, and simply click on Save Changes button. This will update your permalinks settings and flush rewrite rules. In most cases this solution fixes the WordPress posts 404 error. However, if it does not work for you, then you probably need to update your .htaccess file manually
Thank you.
Thanks for the response. I’m familiar with the error codes which is why I find this puzzling.
I’m looking through my .htaccess file and the only thing I see in there that mentions .svg files is cache settings.
I cleared caches and I’ll let it sit for the day.
What am I looking for in .htaccess because no rewrite rule sticks out?
Thanks for the help.
I’m not sure and I don’t even know how to determine that, to be honest. Wouldn’t clear my cache clear that as well? It’s odd to me if I go to a file that exists, I get a 404. I can see the file on my file system.
Hi,
Please make a test, put the Cloudflare on pause, clear all cache and see if the problem is still there.

Thank you.
That didn’t work. I disabled Cloudflare and WP-Rocket and nothing changed.
