i just buy Newspaper theme and i install the plugins and visual composer with

I have the Version 4.4.4 of visual composer and wordpress 4.2.2
and when i want to create a page i have 500 error. When i desactivated visual composer i can create a new page
I had disable all plugins exept visual composer and i have still the 500 error
Any idea ?
1) turn off all plugins except VC
2) increase memory via the wp-config.php to 128MB or more (this is in addition to memory setting for php.ini in your hosting account – you need to do BOTH for WordPress to actually use more than 40MB)
3) be sure to turn off/clear all server caching to debug; turn off mod_pagespeed if using; if using CMS then you need to fully expire old files and refresh new ones.
4) create new page, save it; then EDIT it to add VC features.

Hello yes we found the solution with the host here is the solution in french :
OK vu, il s’agit bien de Mod Security qui bloque la requête. Je viens de modifier sa configuration afin qu’il soit un peu plus permissif
