6.5.1 "forgot your password" is not working

We have applied this fix

so for “new registration” , process works fine on your pop-up login page

However, if user clicks “forgot your password” on your pop-up login and enter their password, it hangs like this

it shows” please wait” for ever and never succeed

as new registration is fine, our SMTP is cocrect apparently, could you tell how to fix this please?

per asked, I have tried “Easy WP SMTP”, still “not” working

I am sure it is not SMTP’s issue because

1. new registration email works fine (different issue from thread you povided”
2. if we do NOT use your pop-up login , it “still” works fine, here is a dev link for you

thanks for tips, we have resolved this issue

for any others who might have similar issues, our problem is our “WP reCaptcha Integration” plugin, we have to turn off his “signup form” , “login form” and “lost password form” to get this work
