Hello
After moving to this theme. My old site I has for years. Bing have penalized me. Checking the indexing URL inspection tool it is telling me there is 6 H1 tags on the front page of my site http://www.techbusinessnews.com.au
But I cannot find any of these. I only have 1 H1 set on the front page
I need an urgent answer to this please.
I only have 1 h1 tag set on my front page. But bing webmasters is saying they are detecting 6
Hello!
I’ve checked your website and yes you have 6 H1 tags. You can disable the H1 from the TagDiv Composer, verify the settings for every logo element from the homepage: https://prnt.sc/K9Pm3QcKVtzi
So, you have H1 for: logo, mobile logo, sticky, block title and also the logo in the footer.
Thank you!
Thank you for showing me this.
I think in this option should not be “ON” be default. This should be put in your change log requests. The default theme is creating Multi H1 tags by default. So for those who are not SEO savey or using your theme for the first time. This will give them Bing penalty. Best to have user manually turn on H1
Good morning,
Really no suggestion, you need an h1 tag for each page with a different title and alt, you’re asking me to deactivate the h1 tags on other pages, it’s no longer SEO.
Why the h1 tag several times and especially why the same titles of the h1 tag on all pages, it deserves an emergency correction, without this correction your site is of no use at all, also important template-blocks are devoid of title tag , the titles and alt tags are important for SEO, with you having the impression that it is only decoration, there is no point in having the most beautiful site if it is not visited or poorly indexed in google.
Hello,
I checked the places where there could be H1 tags, but I guess in my case I have them disabled. I can’t figure out. If you can point out, it could be great.
Thank You
Hi,
It’s simple when you put the sticky header with the logo that already gives you 2 h1 tags plus 2 for mobile, then you have to deactivate 3 and leave only one, problem, that’s it you still keep 4 times the title tag and 4 times the Alt tag, and with respect to Google it’s forcing on the title and keywords at the same time, really bad for SEO.
Hi, I just visited your site: https://glamsham.com/ you have the h1 tag twice and 4 times alt=”Logo”
Hello,
I am sensing a unique issue. A couple of days back the tagDiv team helped me resolve the multiple H1 tag issue. However, now I am seeing the issue re-surface. When I looked into the theme panel, I realised that quite a few settings were reverted.
Is it related to wp sweep? I guessed that I had run the wp sweep earlier.
Has anyone experienced the same and is there a resolution or am I missing something here.
