a couple of silly, simple layout questions related to the Header and top menu

Hi there, thanks for being there for help. My questions are small, but I can’t figure out the answers! Two parts of the questions.

PART ONE
Regarding this: https://education.uwmedicine.org/wwami-news/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/2022/12/WWAMI-NEWS-header-for-support.png
I am trying to do two things with the Header:
1. How can I change the font of the words “WWAMI News”?
2. How can I put a little space between the white box and the words “WWAMI News”? Right now it looks like they are colliding with each other!

PART TWO
OK this is silly, I just can’t figure it out. How can I reduce all the white space under the menu? I want to make the column thinner.

1. This is an image, so needs to do some editing software. You can change the font only if it is a logo text -> https://i.imgur.com/OWnKMeF.png -> https://i.imgur.com/RxOd6Gq.png and the space here https://i.imgur.com/gg5Jugq.png
2. Did you made some custom code for menu?
