Hello all. I want to disable automatic search mechanism. I guess its called ajax search. I don’t want it to immediately search my input. How can I achieve that? Thanks.

Please notice that the Search functionality is integrated by default in our theme. Our Live Search uses Ajax functionality. Also, you can try such free plugins and test their functionality at our theme. You can start from here -> https://colorlib.com/wp/search-plugins-for-wordpress/

Hello sir. Thanks for your reply. But I don’t have any problems with your search functionality. I just don’t like its Live Search mechanism. In some themes we could disable this Live Search but I see that Newsmag doesn’t have this feature. I want to disable Live Search. Maybe in future updates you will make a toggle for this. Right?

If you want to disable the Live Search you should comment out or remove the static function on_ajax from td_ajax.php from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/yB6NVkYLig Clear all the caches and check the results.

By the way, your Live Search is perfect on your demo theme. But it works very slow on my website. Maybe it is because of the server. Anyway. Thanks for your help. I will try your suggestion. Can I disable it with Child Theme? I don’t want to do it everytime the theme is updated. Thanks again!
Hey I made it work. I uploaded the edited td_ajax.php file to: Newsmag-child/includes/wp_booster and it worked. Live Search is not working anymore. Thanks sir! 🙂
