Accordions now "deprecated" in VC?

I’ve just updated my Newspaper theme to 7.1.1 (with VC 4.11.2) and I have a very large amount of accordion and tab modules already in use across the site.

Whilst existing accordions still work, I am unable to edit them – and adding new accordions (or tabs) in requires selecting them from the “deprecated” tab, where they only have limited editing options.

My site needs a strong accordion option, and the old VC one was perfect.

Any advice on how to fix this?

Hi,
The best course of action is to replace them. Remove your current element and replace it with the accordion element. It has the same name and it can be a bit confusing. Simply remove it and create a new one. This will take a bit of time if you have lots of elements already created but unfortunately there is no alternative as VC is trying to get rid of old deprecated elements.
Thank you!

Hey Bogdan,

Thanks for this – it’s a chore, but I’m happy to go through and replace with new accordions if I need to.

However “accordions” and “tabs” don’t show up under “All” in VC for me – only in “deprecated”. Any ideas?

Hi,

If they do not show up, you should look in the plugin settings under role manager and make sure all elements are selected from here: http://screencast.com/t/rQAxwSDAK3kK

Thank you!
