Account Profile + BuddyPress

we have buddypress installed, however when we are logged in, at the top where our names are show with icon, nothing happens when hover on it, how can we make that go to our buddypress profile page.

For this you just need to install the buddypress plugin and using the default settings your user info will display.

Is it possible to use your setup on the top menu bar instead, when login icon is clicked goes to buddypress profile page for user..

Hi,

Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have an option to use or add a custom link for the login widget, you can adjust it yourself if you want from here: http://screencast.com/t/V7qpPztwdLk

You can also replace the theme’s login widget with a custom buddypress link: http://screencast.com/t/tyXLdtUq and add the profile link which will link to user’s buddypress profile page: http://screencast.com/t/0cRa4KYXL
