I have created a custom taxonomy using ACF called “People”. I’ve assigned it to posts so that I can select any relevant people mentioned in the post, and I’ve customised the post template to include a list of people mentioned at the bottom of the post underneath the tags. All working perfectly.
When creating a custom template for the “People” taxonomy, I noticed the breadcrumbs on the page show Home > Name. Is there any way to get the breadcrumbs to show Home > People > Name? At the moment example.com/people/ points to a 404 error, but I was going to create a custom page to cover that.
My OCD is annoying me because all my other category pages show any parent categories in the breadcrumbs and I can’t get this custom taxonomy to match the appearance.

That option isn’t available when using the breadcrumbs on the custom taxonomy template.

Yes, it seems this is not implemented, but you can set a custom text if you want there.

Custom text only overwrites the Home text. Doesn’t add an additional breadcrumb after home.
