I followed the guide for adding custom fields to a template. I set the field group and created two options in ACF. One is a text type and the other is a link type.
They show as expected when I add/edit an existing person in my custom taxonomy that was also created using ACF.
On the template, I added the Custom Field element and it only shows the text type as selectable. If I change the link type to URL, that shows, but I can’t get the link one to show.
It’s the same if I add the Form Input element. It only shows the text version and not the link one.
Any ideas if I am doing something wrong?

There was no compatibility in the theme for this type of custom field.
