Activating on staging vs. Live Site

Hi,

I’m using wpengine to host our site and doing the development in the staging area. If I activate newspaper in staging, will it then work when I move it over to the main deployment area? Or can I deactivate it in one area so I can reactivate on the live site?

d20games.staging.wpengine.com vs d20games.com

Hello 20games,

Normally the Envato policy allows using a theme only on one install. You can, however, use the theme on a sub-domain if you plan on creating a testing site, but if we are talking about totally different sites with different content, then only one theme per install is legally allowed: http://screencast.com/t/NqzloVgyUJB.

so what about the question of activating it on the staging site, and then deactivating and moving it to the main site?
