Active menu highlight not working for # menus

Hey,

I have a menu containing # locations on the page (not sure the correct term for these!). When I select one of the items, it highlights all of them.

Please go to http://ucgeek.co/, select a sub menu item of “Updates”, then go back to that menu and you will see all items in the menu are highlighted.

Thanks!
Andrew

Hi,

There are highlighted all submenu items because all links are on that page. The highlight color appears on active item, so all those items are active when you are on that page. Please take a look how it works – http://screencast.com/t/rzAiupmxhTK

Thanks!

Hey,

I understand why its doing it thanks. I guess what I am asking then, is if you can allow for this case in your JavaScript/JQuery (I assume that’s what you are using). Just looks a bit silly with the whole menu highlighted.

You can see in my old site it works like this – http://www.lync.geek.nz/

Hi,

I have checked this on a default theme and it has the same behavior. You can also test this by switching to a WordPress default theme.
Unfortunately I cannot provide a solution for this, I have checked also your old site and also there it is not working properly – http://screencast.com/t/zOmesQhUwID maybe on that theme is customized.

Thanks!
