I’m using the ad box widget to promote partner websites, but I have an issue with the attribute “spot_img”.
Following a performance audit of these websites on their search console, we’ve noticed that the attribute “spot_img” ranks first as anchor text. We spotted the issue a couple of months ago, and since then, we’ve defined alt attributes for all our ad boxes. Nevertheless, “spot_img” still ranks first in the search console’s top linking text.
What more can I do to change it?

I believe that you are using banners, right? Do you have some custom settings in the ad box for banners?

Yes, we’re using banners, but without any custom settings.
We’ve kept td banners’ postion on posts templates like https://managementpro.ro/antreprenoriat-am-creat-o-panza-speciala-pentru-dormit-putin-procesata-si-fara-imprimeuri-sinteza/ or added them to new build pages (https://managementpro.ro/stiri-antreprenoriat-noutati/) changing the “alt attribute” for each. Maybe it just needs more time to overwrite “spot_img” in search console statistics.

I looked for pages in the source and I don’t see “spot_img” anymore, so the problem should be solved. What I can advise you is to re-index the website
