There seems to be a custom ad placed in the content in visual composer and 2 sidebar ads.

There is athe big content ad in the middle and 2 ad boxes on the right.

I have a much better understanding on all this now thanks to you but I “duplicated/cloned” my existing Most Popular column and corresponding row for Ads and named it Must Read but can not figure out why they display differently.
Both (Most Popular & Must Read) have the same number of posts in settings and the same 2 ad boxes but in the Most Popular displays a “large gap of empty space” on the sidebar after the 2 ads where the Must Read does not display this gap.
1. Why is this? Whats wrong?
2. What do I need to correct this/delete the empty space in Most Popular?

The 2 sticky ads are like so because you have the smart sidebar class set on the row in visual composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/PqgTovr0XFa6

As for the ad boxes and the gap, you use separate rows on the sidebar so your sidebar is split in 3. That mens that the sidebar element will wait for the other sto show up with all content before showing the next row. You have the row set to shoe on the left the block most popular with 5 posts and on the right, the ad box with 2 ads.
It simply waits for the row to finish before showing the next row with content: https://www.screencast.com/t/DcUIkoVkcxR
If you want a continous sidebar and no gap between elements, add it on the same row and there will be no more gaps.

I deleted the “sticky code” from all blocks and set all blocks to 5 posts,and the gap went away! I’m getting the hang of this! Thanks!
As for the “sticky sidebars ads” what is your opinion? Do you like them? Do you think it adds to the site and user experience? Do you see them being used in other sites? Will appreciate your input! Thanks
The sticky sidebar is a feature provided by the theme to be used freely by our users. We see it all the time used on our customers sites.

1. is this by Default?
2. Can it be changed to non-sticky? I do not see where it could be changed.

The sidebar ads on posts can be made non sticky by disabling the smart sidebar option from the theme panel:

I already provided this guide above. PLEASE read the documentation as we are here to help but it is best practice to read the documentation before asking a question here on the forum. We put a lot of time and effort into the documentation and most of the theme what’s and how’s are covered there.
