Hi! Is it possible to place a full width ad between the header and the content+sidebar?

Yes, you can create a custom page, and put a custom ad on the site you like, in this case, it would be above all of that would come form just below the menu. Example http://www.decorandouñas.com

Thanks. But I have a sidebar to the right and want the ad to appear over that sidebar also ‘:(

I see you use header style 8. You can simply assign a header ad from the theme panel and get the result you want:
