A separate advertising block can be added in each category, if the global template is used. I wouldn’t want to load a separate template in each category, as I think it might hurt the loading. But I do need that depending on the category, one ad or another is shown.

A workaround there could be to duplicate the template with another name but the same template and make the changes for the special category. Assign the duplicate template for your special category, or you can import a new one from the Cloud Templates and assign different template for each category in order to have different ads.
