You can add up to two buttons in the header, when a multi-purpose header style is used

Their purpose is to link them to various URLs, maybe a donation page if that is what you want.
That is how this demo does it, a button in the header linking to a donation page with a form

These buttons can’t be displayed in the footer. You could create a page and use that in the footer, use the elements you want in it including buttons

In the middle section I am unable to change the post title colour to white.

Sorry, When I published this footer page in footer section in theme panel. It started showing the title in white colour.
But sub-footer has disappeared which had copyright text. Please help how to get the subfooter back.

Indeed the sub-footer will not be displayed when a page is selected to display in the footer. There is no setting to change this behaviour. It could only be enabled with a modification in the code if required

This might change in further updates, an option could be added to be able to choose.
You could also make a sub-footer replica in the page directly, with a text element for example.
Hi,
I am trying to make a sub-footer in footer page as suggested by you. I have added a row with black background and inline text element white colour. But the text is not visible. Also the row width is not fitting the screen. The white spaces are appearing on both sides of sub-footer.
Also the main footer background is appearing as white on mobile screen. Please help resolve these two issues.

Seems alright for me, the text is white and the row background is black.
