Add element – use custom block created from cloud template

Hi there.
How can i get a custom block to appear in ‘add element’ within TagDiv composer?
Is this the only way: https://forum.tagdiv.com/practical-example-how-to-add-a-new-block-and-module/

as this seems pretty involved since actually creating the block in TD from the cloud templates is so easy. I’m sure there must be an easy way to register / use newly created blocks?

Basically, what I need to do is make Block 18 have two top images rather than one, full width image. I like the single thumbnail / excerpt list below but no other block seems to be able to do this.

So, either edit block 18 to do this or be able to easily use my custom block within a page as a new element.

Any help gratefully received

Hi,

Unfortunately this is the only way to add a new Block and Module, if you want you can try the flex blocks, those have more settings, but I not for sure that you will can achieve what you need, sorry!

Thank you for your understanding!

OK. Thanks.

I’ve managed to get pretty much what I wanted out of Flexbox 4.
However, the excerpt only appears under the two main images and not the smaller images below. Is there a way to get the excerpt to appear with all the posts?

Hi. Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have that set but it only show excerpts under the top two images. The smaller images below have a title then a blank area where the excerpt should be?
