Add more Ads and disable responsive

Hi there,

thanks for this great theme.

First of all i need to know if there is a away to add more custom ads how can i do it?
Do i have to code to accomplish that, is there a custom plugin?

Also i need to disable the responsive feature and i need a fixed 980px site, i checked the themes and i can’t see any settings for that is there a css file to send me?

Hi,
this theme is “responsive always on” .. there is no fixed layout.

There are some solutions for adding more ad spots, and you can find many posts on that by doing a search in the forum. Sorry I don’t have the actual links.

Yeah. They removed the fixed layout a few versions back. And technically that “made sense” only because Google WANTS all sites to be mobile-ready, and sites work better when mobile friendly vs running separate sub domain, or a plugin which re-writes the entire site for mobile, etc. It also was difficult to manage a non-responsive layout while having al the fancy stuff people kept asking for, like megamenus, etc. — basically bloating the CSS with both responsive and non-responsive code and all the if/then stuff, made it less healthy for the majority of folk who do want a “responsive” theme.

Also, there are more and more underpinnings from Bootstrap inspired code, which is “responsive”…
