Can you add an image and text (let’s say in two columns) in the blocks (not sure that is what they are called in this theme) with hyperlinks that don’t go to a blog post?
I purchased this theme thinking I could do so but can’t seem to find the answer to this question anywhere.

I am sorry for the misunderstanding !
The blocks are editable but they will only render posts. You can however create different layouts using rows and columns as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/lBT4cLY7ks in each column you can insert any element available in tagdiv composer.
