I want to add new blocks to composer. I need a custom layout that isn’t present in composer.
Can anyone help me in guiding, how to add new blocks?
I tried to use td-api-plugin, but it is giving errors.

First I suggest to try the flex block 1 and 2 -> https://i.imgur.com/HecGZeA.png, those have special option that allow you to create different layouts, after that you can simply save the shortcodes -> https://i.imgur.com/HMsArnD.jpg

That empty space is coming from AdSense -> https://i.imgur.com/LkNTKSH.png the problem is that you set a code (most probably auto ad code) more then once on the page -> https://i.imgur.com/SPEE1ge.png

The header ad will be display in the header for entire website. If you do not want it there for entire website, then yes, you can remove it.

Thanks! Also, I was never able to get ads to show up on my sidebar for posts. Using widgets didn’t work since I could only use the ad tag div widget through the tag div composer which is only available on pages.

Your sidebar is empty. You can add there elements using the widget section, for example create a sidebar and assign in it the elements you need -> https://i.imgur.com/mQWRdEd.png (including ads, for those use the ad box element and choose the source of the ads, usually the code is set in sidebar ads section -> https://i.imgur.com/ewkjy2a.png -> https://i.imgur.com/DjsUZ1J.png
After that just assign that sidebar as global for all posts -> https://i.imgur.com/j3yiBoW.png

The code that you have set in the sidebar ads is an auto ads code from AdSense. That code should be set only once between head tags. In our theme it can be set in this place -> https://i.imgur.com/84RcrIu.png

I may try that for a few days and see if it works and then try setting the auto adsense code in a new area and see if that works better

Hi,
I added a new block copying block 1 in td api plugin. Named it td_block_17 in php file.
Changed name of block in td-api-plugin.php.
The name is displayed in td composer. But, when I try to add it to a column. it shows just a spinner. it keeps loading and loading.

FYI, same thing happens, when I try to add the custom flex block that comes in td api plugin without any modification.
I am using td api plugin which comes with newsmag 5.
