Adjust opacity on background of titles on big and small sliides homepage

How do I adjust the opacity on the backgrounds of the titles on the big and small slides on the home page. I’m using white and need it to be whiter so the text shows more clearly. I have tried to find the css but can not. What custom css can I use to change it?
