Is that the featured image of the post? That would suggest you are using a small original image. Use bigger images for better results, the theme will not stretch or upscale small images.
But I change the format of the box. That is, the category goes up to the left but some colors appear in the photo.

Maybe I am not understanding what you are referring to. What box are you mentioning? From what I see in the screenshot, that is a post page, with a featured image.
If you use a small image size as featured it will be displayed as it is, not stretched.
