Hi all – new to wordpress and to newspaper – so sorry
Firstly my ads dont show on the top half of the home page but do in the widget at the bottom
Secondly my current site has ads for fashion in fashion section – for sport in sport section etc etc
each section has its own Category Template and category has its own Post Template – so the ad code is distributed on them
How do i do the same thing with this
I should say the homepage is newsmag page which it is not showing on
when you click home on the menu it take you to the news page which is does show on

What theme version do you use? The page content ads are not displayed?
If you refer to the content ads that you display using Ad Box block, unfortunately it is an issue in the latest version of the theme and will have to add this code in the td_config.php file – http://screencast.com/t/ZQJyFIm04Uv It will be fixed in the next update.

Its the latest – V 6.3.2 – bought it the other day
that didnt work
What i am saying is the homepage – http://www.eastmidlandsbusinesslink.co.uk/mag/ – uses template newsmag – no ads show
but if you click on the Home button – taking you to http://www.eastmidlandsbusinesslink.co.uk/mag/news/ – it uses the template News – they do show
adding ‘– Select an ad spot –‘ => ”, has not worked
Have changed Pages> Homepage – Newsmag – Front Page and added the Ad Block a couple of times but not showing

I have checked your site and if you are referring to the header ad, it is not displayed on both of your pages. I have inspected this, the code is there but the banner is not displayed – http://screencast.com/t/SQ9nfgwX So I suggest to check if the code is working, use a text block and see if it is displayed.
Also regarding the above code, if you edited and added it in the file, please edit news page set the ad box again and update the page and see if it works. If you still have issues with it please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-access so we can take a look, also paste a link to this conversation so we can know who you are and what your issue is.

at the minute the homepage – http://www.eastmidlandsbusinesslink.co.uk/mag/ – uses template newsmag- has Tax Advice and the Social media links
its meant to have an ad above, and ad in the middle and an ad below
The Home link – http://www.eastmidlandsbusinesslink.co.uk/mag/news/ – it uses the template News – and that shows I’m guessing your social media stuff in Stay Connected, my ad and Make it Happen

Apologies for that
i waited as long as i could but i had to give a presentation to the MD of what the new site would look like, so i used the newspaper Page and that worked fine so i will probably use that as my homepage from now on
All the ads that are on the homepage do not want to be on the property or advice Sections – a whole new set of different ads need to be on them
as their is only 5 custom ads how can i get more ads

You will need custom modifications to place ads on category page(property and advice are categories) as the theme doesn’t have an option to display ads there.
