with 8.7.2 update (plugin too) article inline ads on amps do not perform well.
ProblemS:
1) When there is a video as featured image, the number of parameters skips.
2) Inline ads overlap with bottom ads if there are few paragraphs
(in the mobile theme there is a function that avoids overlapping).
How to solve?

1. Indeed the featured video seems to be wrapped in paragraph tags, this will affect the inline ad paragraph count. I will pass this along to the developer team and they will investigate.
2. I have tested a post with 2 paragraphs where the inline ad is set to appear after 1 paragraph

2) For other question The typical situation with amp ads problem is follow
with Article Inline Ad after two paragraph:

As you can see the two ads (Inline Ad and Bottom Ad) follow one another, while in the mobile theme there is a function that in the same case shows only Article Bottom Ad.

I have tested with three paragraphs and all article ads enabled.

So they will both be displayed, inline and bottom. I will mention this as well to the developer team and they will take a look. Thank you for reporting this.

Unfortunately not, This will not be easy it would require extensive AMP knowledge. It might be tricky to do so it would be bets to leave it to the team. I have added these on or issue list and they will be looked over by our team, when the time comes. They also will make tests to ensure everything works properly.
