Default sizes for all ad-spots can be checked in td_block_ad_box.php file: http://screencast.com/t/fC1wPCLn2b These values can be overwritten from theme panel > ads for each ad-spot: http://screencast.com/t/bwmzmQpZ Note that this values can be changed only for ad-sense ads, other ads won’t be affected by them.

if I decide to use custom banners and I change the values in td_block_ad_box.php to set them fit the banner size for example in custom_ad_1 will everything work properly?

Hi,
The ads have only been tested with those sizes as they are sizes for adsense. I;m not sure adsense can provide any other sizes. If you use custom ads, then the theme will render the ads as best it can in the given container or display the ads in the size you provide if it;s smaller than the container.
We do not recommend changing those values.

I do no use google adsense. I want on desktop to have 728×90 banner, and on responsive mobile for it to be 320×50.

The mobile footer ad does not have sizes added to it. All mobile ads are responsive ads as mobile phone screens are very different and a fixed width in a responsive layout will break the design.

Hi Bogdan! Yes I tried this, but according to a previous post you guys made this does not work with non adsense ads.
I do not use adsense and I tried to force the ad to change size and it did not work. I have long 728 x 90 ad that is on desktop AND mobile, it does not resize correctly on mobile responsive. It is about 40% too long.
There is nothing in that guide I can see that shows me how to change ad sizes for non adsense ads on phone using responsive. This should be possible, no?

Hello,
Well for a custom ad it will display in the size you upload it. It will automatically be responsive if you wrap it inside the provided div’s like this one for example:
<div class="td-all-devices"><a href="#"><img src="#"/></a></div>
The div’s are created to be responsive so they will position properly. Please provide an example of such an ad that does not position properly. Provide a link to your site so we can inspect it.

My site for now testing is http://dailysnark.staging.wpengine.com/ as you can see, just the staging area until I move it to the real site once complete. So ads work but this site is not for the public, just exclusively for staging/testing.
Please if you look at it on mobile you will see the top ad, 728 x 90 is too long.
My ad code is also a script so I do not know how that would work inside of the wrapper you provided.
