When i choose the auto option in the ad manager, why does the theme inserts ads of a specific size in the post? On mobile devices, I want Adsense to decide the ad size, but the theme ads a 300 x 250 unit. How to disable this? I want the auto option to insert the ad code as it is.
Many visitors to my website browse from phones with resolution less than 300 x 250 pixels. The ads on such devices will not be completely visible

Unfortunately, there is the functionality of our theme for Ads and the whole theme is based on this. If you want to change these values for Auto mode, please check the td_block_ad_box.php file like this -> http://screencast.com/t/FfpDnK9SPf or maybe you can achieve this by using a plugin like AdRotate for example. We usually recommend AdRotate because most users seem to have it working properly on their website.

I’ve tested ad injection, advanced ads, quick adsense plugins with newspaper. When the horizontal adsense responsive ad is aligned to the left in a post (below nth paragraph), the adsense code automatically displays a 728 x 90 unit that spreads across the sidebar. I can ad media queries to adjust the ad sizes dynamically but this wastes the functionality one of the most important module of newspaper theme. I’ll try your suggestion.
