Hi guys,
Probably this isn’t a problem for TagDiv to adress but maybe you know how to help. Untill a week ago (sort of) all my Google adsense formats worked perfectly (mainly MREC 300×250). Recently they all been replaced by badly integrated vertical banners. I tried to sort this out in Adsense creating all sort of new ad sets (MREC classical, Responsive, etc) and i still get this crappy vertical banners that obviously don’t fit the spaces i expected formats as 300×250 to appear.
Any clues on why this is happening to me? Maybe you can check it out on my page http://www.goalpoint.pt even if probably you will diverent advertisers than we get locally here.
Thanks in advance,
Pedro Ferreira

Google did something on/about last day of March, where many of the responsive sidebar banners use more vertical space than the defined size, meaning they may drop in a 300×250 but use up the space of a 300×600 or whatever. This is happening all over the place, and not just with the tagdiv themes. It’s almost as if with the responsive banners they are trying to “guess” how much vertical space they can get away with an serve different ad; or if they have served a tall skinny ad for mobile, then the next person loading ad from desktop gets the ad size from mobile. Bizarre.
My solution right now has been to not make the iPad portrait ads taller than the desktop sidebar ads…. you can “try” that and see what happens.
And/or define sidebar ad sizes for iPad portrait if you haven’t done that (e.g., 250×250 for iPad portrait vs 300×250… ).
Hi Chris,
Thanks on the feedback? I haven’t done nothing custom per se and i don’t even know exacly how to do that (my usage is “newbie level”, i just use the WP Bo funcionalities, i don’t venture on css or direct html editing) but your views on why this is happening make sense. I will try different setups using the visual composer and the theme BO but i hope Google fix this and/or Tagdiv can help us in sorting this out, it really messes up presentation.
All the best,
Hi,
Checked your site and seems that your adsense banners are loading as you want theme now: http://screencast.com/t/IFCmLO97Z0x
Please note that you can also use the custom ad sizes settings to chose a custom size for your ads on tablets/mobile/desktop screens: http://screencast.com/t/j0wS5TVQUjr
Thanks
