No, for adv banners I use a special plugin for management, time, link etc. It fits into the desired pages and if there is already a general background of the template.

Your “background click adv” system is not well manageable:
It is only possible to insert a background image and insert a link. But all over the site.

It appears this issue with the plugin is related to how the image is set in the post content and the post content width setting.
Please try this css:

Set the code in the theme panel > custom code > custom css and the click will work on the background banner.
