First of all I’d like to congratulate you guys on your theme panel so far.

I have a recommendation that would greatly benefit all publishers monetizing through ads:

Ad code insertion based on post category/tag.

This enables us, the publishers, to create custom targeted channels that will allow us to sell advertising on only one post category.

ex: I could set up separate ads on Fashion vs Travel

The implications are huge and we would gladly pay for this kind of premium feature!

hi,
thank you for your suggestion , we will talk about this.

for now you can create separate sidebars from category panel for each category : http://screencast.com/t/250ZvG1JU

then go to widgets , find your sidebars and drag [tagDiv Ad Box] from witch you select your custom ad : http://screencast.com/t/itg3ogxJt .

you can modify the theme to have as many custom ads as you like.

Hi,

If you need more custom ads you have to edit td_config.php and add it like this: http://screencast.com/t/LjL18ZfbL Then just make add it in td_panel_ads.php file – http://screencast.com/t/UB3dwNgI68
Now you can add your code in Theme Panel > Ads – http://screencast.com/t/z3ROmJFEL and display it in your page – http://screencast.com/t/aNBwX5azB
