I just changed the “advertisement” on my website to replace the “placeholder”. However the Google Adsense code isn´t used / added.

Hi,
Please make sure that the banner it is also removed -> https://i.imgur.com/9hx5A7g.jpg and you have set only the source code from the theme panel for the header.
Also if you made a new google account and those are new AdSense ads, then it can take up to a few days until the ads will be approved.
