Hi,
after I updated the theme to 11.4. I get a WordPress critical error on front page.
Currently working to get the old backup online.
Please assist. Theme worked flawlessly before.
Also error log shows
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 ()

As far as I can see, this error was caused by the update to 11.4.
When I rolled back the backup everything functions great.
All the requirements for the theme have been met (execution time, php limit etc…) and it seems that other users are experiencing the same thing…

Those situations can appear form different situations. For example is possible to use an untested plugin that is working with the current theme version, but after the theme or plugin update to no longer be compatible. Those situations need to be checked in the moment when are happening to can identify the problem and see if there is a solution to fix it.

so the proposed solution would be deactivating plugins one by one until I find the culprit?

Yes, this would be the first step in determining if the problem is with a plugin that is being used.
In case that you do this and the problem is still persisting, the you’ll need to go furthered and we’ll need wp-admin and cPanel access via email at contact@tagdiv.com (also before providing access you’ll need to be sure that you have a full backup for website and database)
