After upgrading to 4.5 – mobile menu slides out incorrectly

After pressing the menu button, it slides all the way to the right and is not visible.

I asked another friend to test it, and on his phone (galaxy s3). He said the menu button doesn’t open the menu at all.

Yeah, I’m no expert programmer, but after 7 hours straight troubleshooting this, I’m at my wit’s end. I cannot get the mobile menu to open at all on my friend’s Galaxy S3 (default browser), nor can I get it to load visibly on my Nexus 5 (Chrome browser). And we’re supposed to go live this Sunday for a large audience.

I tried disabled all plugins. Re-installed 4.5 again. Combed through very basic CSS items I’ve added. Nothing seems to make a difference. I’m obviously missing something, but steering blind at this point.

I noticed your demo site works fine on both our phones, as well as a few other sites people in the forum have referenced load fine too. But my site doesn’t.

Lucian, Radu… I have a registered user lock on the site, but will give credentials if you can please take a look.

Could really use some support on this. Thanks in advance.

Finally got permission to deactivate the registered users lockout.
Can take a look without logging in now.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay on which I’m answering. I have check your site and seen your issue and I think is caused by some css.
We recently had a similar issue with a client which was using child theme, applied some custom mortification to it’s site with it without updating it.
This could cause this in your case also, please let me know if you are using the child theme and if so please make sure you update it also and make sure you make a backup before in case something goes wrong.

Yep, using a child theme, finally realized the culprit was a non-updated header.php. *facepalm*
Why is it that 7 hour code expeditions that never yield results are always 2 second fixes in the end? 🙂
