Hello again Anamaria, following your suggestion about object cache, I switch off the caching on my site, deactivated and deleted the tagdiv composer plugin, then reinstalled and reactivated it. Then I switched one of my mega menu items to use the top level category and cleared all my browser(s) caching.
Alas, still ALL the category items show in the mega menu, as before. Not sure what else it could be but the theme not working with WP6 at the moment.
Hi, at WordPress.com we don’t really have control over the object cache. Because we only have Jetpack, which I have already disabled the accelerations. I also forced a rebuild of the database which forces an object cache cleanup. The problem remains.
I don’t think that could be the reason either, since in WP 5.9 everything was ok. It may even be from WP 6.0 itself, but this is already beyond me.
We continue to wait and available for whatever you need most, to resolve this situation.
Thanks.
Hi, that’s not my website. I have the same problem as described by others, I re-save the menu and go to my website and it shows correctly. I refresh the page and I get all the submenus combined into one. This is new behaviour since WordPress 6 and I have done all the updates that are available.
Hello,
@MartinLWilliamson, @digitalrecordtv, @evilspyboy
Please contact us by email at contact@tagdiv.com, and provide wp-admin and cPanel / FTP access to investigate.
Thank you!
Brilliant, it’s resolved (desktop/mobile).
You are fantastic!
I disabled, deleted and reinstalled composer and it works.
Thanks.
Hi Anamaria,
I have deactivated-and-deleted then installed-and-activated the Composer plugin a couple of times, without any apparent fix to the mega menu category problem.
However, I found that recreating the mega menu items themselves does now work!
Perhaps that’s all I needed to do previously once I had the WP, Newspaper and Composer versions all up-to-date, but posting this here as something others could maybe try.
Thanks very much for the quick update to the Composer plugin once the problem was present.
Hello,
@Wyohost Yes, the problem is solved.
@MartinLWilliamson Please provide the link to your website.
Thank you!
Sure – have a look at this if you want, @wyohost ; the three menu items which were not working and are now fixed with the latest version of Newspaper and Composer are “Race”, “Journals” and “Other”.
Hi,
I upgrade to WP6 and update the newspaper theme to v11.5.1, deactivate/remove then reinstall tagdiv composer but all mega menu on the website I am working on still show the same sub-categories. I also uninstall cached plugin and remove cached file, same behavior.
I downgrade WP6 to WP 5.9.3 (and Newspaper Theme v11.5.1) then it fixes the issue.
Should I wait for a new version of Newspaper before re-upgrade WordPress to V6.0?
Hi @Anamaria,
Thank you for your response.
I do not installed a cached plugin at the moment. There is no cached file.
Also on the mobile, the mega menu subcategories appears correctly.. But not on desktop.
My td composer pages are not working after update.
I tried to delete the plugin and reinstalled it. Still same issue.
Please kindly help.

Hello Anamaria
Yes I had to change it to not let our users be scared by the mega menu, it is suppose to look like on the screen I’ve link earlier
http://www.semeur.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/Capture-decran-2022-06-16-122102.jpg
This is a temporary fix
Edit : not look like it, but a mega menu with post preview, not a simple drop down
