After updating version 7.5, all my subpages build with VC Template (My templates) suddenly are full width, not showing the sidebar. I think around 50 pages.
When editing the pages, they are still set with a sidebar and chosen.
Even if I try to create a new page using template, the theme dont care about my opinion and just go full Width.
This only seems to be a problem, when “My templates” has been used, and do not effect all other pages. SOme sidebars however have small spacing issues.
I use child, can NOT see any bugs or any plugins that needs update.
Is this a known bug, and is there a solution…-)

In the current theme version, the sidebars were removed from the pagebuilder + page title option because there were 2 options to add a sidebar on pages conflicting with one another. You could add a sidebar directly from the widgets area and you could also add a sidebar using a widgetized sidebar element. We removed the option to add a sidebar from the widget area because if it’a a page builder template it makes more sense to use the page builder to call your sidebar on the page. Sorry for the inconvenience caused if you used the standard sidebars on your pages. We recommend to disable sidebar on these pages and split the row in a 2/3+1/3 column layout and place a widgetized sidebar element on the page: http://screencast.com/t/sBRVgYOzX

Did You just tell me, that I have to redesign 50 subpages one by one? They started as a template, but are large build pages with lots of text, images and stuff..now suddenly You change this..
This will take days, and I wonder what a client will feel about this and the massive price for the work-hours. Also we have used this method on sites soon to be released.
Have You done the same for NewsMag, I am afraid to ask…

Unfortunately yes.
This was done to newsmag as well. There is a message in the theme panel now on pagebuilder+latest articles that will not let you use a sidebar on this template anymore: http://screencast.com/t/ICzdciqwDZ except for the widgetized sidebar element.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused. If you find that you cannot use the theme anymore for this reason, we will be able to provide a refund so you can choose another theme for your project.

I Dont think a refund will cut the hundreds of hours put into Your themes for several clients, I am afraid. And we are very happy with the themes, but off cause the change is a huge problem for pages already created. I think You should not have done it.
Anyway..
We will just have to do it manually and then change the way we build templates.
