Am I able to set up on test site, then import settings?

I just bought newsmag and would like to put it on a busy, existing site.

Is it possible for me to set it up, experiment, test, on a test site, then when I get everything set up and looking how I want, export/import the settings to the existing site?

The goal, of course, is to cause minimal disruption of the existing site during the change over,

You can use the theme on a test site with no restrictions, then after everything it’s complete you can just import the settings from the test site on your live site. All theme’s options are stored in a string in theme panel > import/export: http://screencast.com/t/ae06BN4J
