Amazon Responsive Search Widget not displaying

Hi there,

I’ve been having trouble getting the Amazon Affiliate programme’s Responsive Search Widget to display on my site: https://affiliate-program.amazon.co.uk/gp/associates/promo/search-widget.html

Has anyone managed to get this working on their website? I don’t think this is a problem with the theme as such, but I’d be grateful to hear from other Newspaper users as to how they got it to display.

As it stands I’m (unsuccessfully) using the Ad Inserter plugin which is added as a widget on the sidebar, but the raw JavaScript block in Visual Composer failed to display the Amazon widget either.

Thanks for the response and apologies for the late reply. I’ve tried adding the Amazon advert in both text mode from the editor (in a post), as well as using the ‘Raw JS’ component of visual composer on the home page (just under the advert block): http://bestforcats.co.uk

For some reasons it’s still not appearing, although it does seem to load in the inspector. The theme documentation mentions removing the <script> tags but this seems to break the page.

I’ve tried doing as you’ve said on this page at the top of the sidebar (text block component in Visual Composer): http://bestforcats.co.uk/about/

Unfortunately it’s still not displaying, could it be a plugin causing the issue?
