We have updated newsmag in several sites but even if we have updated the AMP plugin we still getting 404 error even if the AMP plugin is working and the AMP plugin also display fine. The AMP plugin was working fine with previous version of newsmag. Please advice
Hello bettingspin,
Sorry, but please notice that we do not have any bad reports in this case until now! The AMP plugin should works as expected with the latest version of the theme because it was fully tested and works as expected. Try o resave your permalinks and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
in fact it is not working on ANY posts or page since the update even if the AMP is enabled and it does display in the preview. The exact same pages were working before the recent newsmag update so there is an issue here. Those are some examples of pages affected:
https://toptradingplatforms.co.uk/2018/07/10/compare-top-10-brokers-in-the-uk/amp
https://bestbettingsites.online/new-betting-sites/amp
If you look them in preview they look fine but if you look at the URL above they going to 404 even if amp is correctly enabled and they show in AMP in the preview. Those pages were working in AMP before the update. We have several sites affected and getting google search consol flagging the issue as well as those AMP pages were working before.
Please let me know.

comfirm not working with 4.5 google send me a mess page amp is 404
This page is working for me in Chrome (latest).

The second one does not, which implies the option for AMP for ‘pages’ is not properly enabled (if a page), or the permalinks/caching not cleared/save there.
Properly clearing caching, AND resaving permalinks from the WP admin panel are the most common issue with *all* AMP plugins, since the /amp/ endpoint is another redirect schema based on the permalinks.
yes now it is working after saving the permalink again.
In regards to the page I have been told by support to test with ?/amp and that works too
