The latest Newspaper theme doesn’t provide a good looking amp page. The page is unformatted as shown. Here is the actual page link and the unformatted AMP page screenshot.

Hi,

If you re using the mobile theme with automatic amp the layout of amp will be the same as for mobile, if you are not using the mobile theme, only the amp you’ll get the layout of WordPress amp ( the one that you have now ).

Calin, I tried the option of using the Mobile theme for amp, but that option breaks the mobile theming and I see the same unformatted theme when site is accessed from the mobile. That’s the reason I had to turn off that option. This is not just my case. I saw few other posts in this forum related to mobile theme not showing pretty page.

Hi,

Unfortunately for the moment ( until will be relies the update ) those are the only option, to have the amp without mobile theme but will have that simple layout or using with mobile theme, and the amp will look like mobile theme.

Also if you do not like this AMP layout, you can deactivate it and install other amp plugin.

Thank you for your understanding!

Why does the mobile version break when we turn ON ” SHOW ON AMP” in the theme settings? Can you guys fix it ASAP?

Got the same problem! The mobile theme with AMP doesn’t load any shortcodes anymore…

We are getting the same, we can’t run a business with our site looking like this on mobile. Simply saying that an update may be released soon is out of order. We have paid for this theme and you guys are not providing us with what we need.

Please find a resolution ASAP otherwise we will look to raise further.

Kind regards

We have updated our site to the latest 9.6.1 version and turned on “Mobile+AMP” under the “Use Mobile Theme For” section. I still see no CSS in the AMP page. It is an unformatted page. What’s going on?

I have seen the same problem on my site. Try deleting the WP Super Cache and try. It worked for me.

Hi,

Please make sure that you have mobile theme and amp activate -> https://www.screencast.com/t/0HdK6yDmo
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/0HdK6yDmo -> https://www.screencast.com/t/WGJ8XPIQcqzD
Now you have more possibility’s, you can use only mobile, mobile + amp like in v9.6 and amp very you have possibility to set on which posts to set the amp.

Also please try the suggestion that Pradeep Augustine mentioned, clear all cache.

Thank you!

I did everything as you said and even deactivated the cache plugin, but the amp pages still won’t load the style sheet.

Hi @Kiran,

Is look like your amp version is working now -> https://www.screencast.com/t/50R0qUPq

Thanks!

Thanks everyone for your inputs. Yes, it’s working now for the new pages. The problem was due to a incompatible plugin.

Catalin, I still have issue with old pages such as this one. Not sure what’s going on.

Hi,

Also please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme ( or cache plugin ), clear all cache deactivate the cache plugin and try again.

If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thank you!
