Hi there
i was wondering if the AMP errors i am now getting – was from maybe 5/6 to over 200 was from the latest update of Newspaper or WP? i know they were done back to back so i am not sure which/ where is at fault so no idea where to go look to fix.

You can either contact AMP to explain the errors or you can google search them and take them one by one see what they mean and how can they be fixed.
