Analytics Tracking Code NOT Verifying

Hi,

I have the JS code snippet from Google Analytics with my unique UA-ID and tried to copy this in Theme Panel>Analytics, but Analytics still displays “Tracking Not Installed”.

I have also tried this using the verifying option on SEO Yoast but again this still hasn’t worked.

I have noticed that the JS code does is not just before the </head> line, could this be the issue?

Please make sure you copy the whole snippet to the theme panel. You might have left something out. Please visit this topic https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1008080?hl=en

Thanks for the response,

Yes I had copied the entire snippet correctly. As it turns out it took 24hrs for Google Analytics to acknowledge it was working (even though a refresh of the page claimed it had crawled the mainpage and could find the UA-ID!!)

Anyway all is working well
