Hi,
We have a one page (ish) configuration on our website (https://t5mad.com) and we use anchor links to navigate to the hp sections.
On mobile, the anchor links from the menu do not work.

Can you help us fix it?
Also, anyway we could just disable the mobile menu and keep it visible the whole time?
Thx in advnace,

HI,

Well, when you navigate on mobile (on the home page https://t5mad.com/), opne the hamburger menu and click on the menu items with anchor links (Agencia, Estudio, Eventos). You’ll see that they don’t work.

Hello!

I’ve tested and it is working well. Please verify the steps in the next example:
1. On a row, set the ID : https://prnt.sc/iLVFy0j9mNFT
2. Add a custom link to your menu: https://prnt.sc/pxy4NIslAG9N

Let me know the results!

Thank you!

Hi @Bettina

I am trying to create something similar, but the “jump” to my row is not as smooth as t5mad. When I click the menu item, the url loads again before displaying the row. Anything I’m missing?

Appreciate your help. Thank you!

Hello @theheritagelab!

Can you please provide more information about this issue?

A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, and send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link; paste it here.

Thank you!

Hi @bettina

Here’s a sample link — if you click on “Gallery 1” you will see that it loads the url again before going to that section, but doesn’t flow smooth.

Hello @theheritagelab!

It shouldn’t reload. Delete the link from that button and use the scroll to class feature only.

Thank you!

Hi @Bettina

Unfortunately the scroll-class doesn’t work for my purpose because I intend for more items to link to different parts of the page. For instance, it would be a menu with Gallery 1, 2, 3 linking to different parts of the same page. Could you please tell me how to work this around like it works for t5mad ?

Hello @theheritagelab!

You should use multiple buttons with different classes for different places.

Thank you!

Hi @bettina,

appreciate that you’re trying to find an alternative solution, but I really need this button to be the menu for aesthetic reasons. I cannot use multiple buttons. My simple question therefore would be, how can I achieve and duplicate what you’ve suggested in terms of adding a custom link https://prnt.sc/pxy4NIslAG9N and getting a smooth flow.

I notice that t5mad is also using a row ID … https://t5mad.com/#estudio so it should be possible?

Hello @theheritagelab!

I can see that it is working well. When you click on the section button, it will reload, but if you only hover over and click on Gallery 1 or Gallery 2, it will go as smoothly as you want without reloading the page.

Thank you!

Hi @bettina

Yeah I managed to make it work! The reason why the jump to Gallery 1 / Gallery 2 was not smooth because I missed adding “/” in the [link]/#gallery1 — haha quite silly of me, I know. But all is good now – thanks for your patience. I did not notice the click-reaction to “Sections” but will figure!
