I don’t want to shows the posts but only the list of categories.
Something like in the image below, and it’s important to me. Please before you speak of custom work, I understand that you guys word a lot but I can do it with some help. 🙂

Hi,
Unfortunately you do need custom work for this or a plugin because the theme doesn’t have feature like that.
You could also try to add categories to your menu and use css to style it as you like. Use inspect tool to make an idea about the css you need to achieve this and check the site from your image.
