Anyone using with DFP?

Is anyone using this theme with Google DFP? I’m having a hard time getting background ads to show. Leaderboard and MPU show up fine but not background ads.

What issue do you have?

The background ads is simple to setup, just upload a background for your site from Theme Panel -> Background then go to Ads -> Background ad and set a link for your Ad.

We serve ads that are tracked and part of campaigns such as site takeovers where clients book, say, 200000 impressions of leaderboard, sidebar and background ads together.

Using the theme’s built-in wallpaper solution, there is no way to track and report this. It’s like saying why I don’t put a picture with a link in the sidebar instead of using proper banner code.

Using DFP’s background code in your theme, I just cannot get backgrounds to show up.

Hi,

Unfortunately the theme hasn’t been designed for Google DFP ad codes and our themes ad system is not so complex. I suggest you try and sue a plugin for it.
