How to sort articles on archieve page by categories?

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no option to do this. You will need custom modification for this, as I’m not sure how you can sort articles by category, more accurate to group posts from the same category and sort them by: http://codex.wordpress.org/Class_Reference/WP_Query#Order_.26_Orderby_Parameters I think that you have to do that for each category and is not an easy task, you can hire a professional to do that, as we cannot provide custom work at this time as we work on updates/development and support.

Maybe you know how to show on archieve page two categories one after another? For example, I have category “News” and category “Publications”. Is it posible to show on archieve page list of articles from category “News” and under it list of articles from category “Publications”?
P.S. Sorry for my bad English.

Hi,

You can try to edit your archive template and use short-codes and the do_shortcode function to add blocks built and customized using VC page builder.

If you don’t know how to do it I suggest you get someone to help you with this as we cannot do custom modification at the moment.
