Hi there – I’m looking at building a new site, and need to know whether TagDiv are actually still developing the Newspaper theme and Optin Builder plugins. The update schedule, apart from security patches seems to have dropped right off on both.
I love the Optin Builder plugin, but the signup process needs redoing entirely to compete with other membership plugins. I’m used to Newspaper and would prefer to use it on the new site too.
Oct 22, 2025 update is not like abandonware, prior to holidays.

The theme is definitely going on; we’re still actively working on it and looking for ways to improve it. Over the past two years, sales on ThemeForest have decreased significantly (for all themes, not only ours), which has unfortunately reduced the resources dedicated exclusively to the theme and its development.
That said, a theme update is currently in progress, and we’re hopeful it will be released later this month.
